Wuyi Rock Oolong Tea Old Bush Shui Xian Narcissus
Narcissus, or Shui Xian in Chinese, is a bush varietal of Wuyi rock oolong. Shui Xian has been commonly grown in Wuyi mountains for the last two decades, but old bush Shui Xian, or Lao Cong Shui Xian in Chinese, is not commonly found in the Wuyi mountain core-producing areas, especially those bushes that are more than sixty years old. As you can see in the picture below, the bushes are so old that moss has grown on the branches.
This tea was held as a private stash, but we have now decided to share it with our fellow tea lovers. As you might expect, this wonderful Shui Xian oolong tea offers everything that one looks for in a Shui Xian. Besides being very floral, smooth and fruity, what stands out more is its full-body and strong huigan, with a sweet aftertaste and a mouth full of saliva producing a lingering flavor. It can sustain many steepings. It is indeed a oolong tea lover's wonderland.
