This tea bowl is the original art work of master Zhouzi, hand crafted from high quality Jingdezhen porcelain with a traditional Yuan Rong shape. Yuan Rong means round and harmony in Chinese. The art work was inspired by a famous poem written by a well-known monk and poet Hui Neng (慧能) of the Tang dynasty, which depicts himself sitting on a Nantai mountain cliff, meditating on Zen philosophy. Master Zhouzi is a high level porcelain painter in Jingdezhen and has been creating original porcelain artwork more than 30 years. 

The poem says, "sitting quietly on the Nantai mountain burning incense, contemplating every day, all worries and anxieties are gone and not a thought in my mind. Not because I want to get rid of delusion, but because there is nothing to think about". - translated by Victoria. 

南台静坐一炉香，终日凝然万虑亡。不是息心除妄想，只缘无事可思量。
