Highlights

Xiao Hu Sai village belongs to the Bang Ma Big Snow Mountain ridge of Mengku, Yunnan. There are three smaller villages in Xiao Hu Sai, two are La Hu minority villages, the other is a Han village. Xiao Hu Sai has the largest reserve of ancient puerh trees in the Bing Dao area. Due to the recent years of high demand of Mengku pu'erh tea, Xiao Hu Sai has quickly gained fame for its high quality, ancient tree pu-erh tea. Xiao Hu Sai pu-erh tea is renowned for its honey fragrance, strong "cha qi" and slight astringency but with quick Hui Gan, and it gets better after several years of aging. This tea is very fragrant and smooth, has a hint of nutmeg, almond, vanilla, passion fruit and a slight hint of citrus. This tea is a great starter for those new to pu-erh tea as well as for experienced drinkers that want to explore Mengku pu-erh tea.

Traditionally, puerh cakes are stacked together and wrapped in a bamboo skin case called a tong. One tong is composed of 5 individual cakes. To purchase a tong, please contact us directly.
