From its true origin, the very core producing area of Fuding county, this King grade white peony cake is no doubt one was the best of its kind, produced by one of the most respected white tea companies in Fuding and has been aged well for seven years. The Chinese tea community regards white tea that is aged more than seven years as a treasure. Victoria visited the company's tea growing base and process facility in the mountains of the highest elevation summit, in the prominent white tea growing area in Diantou township, Fuding county. She also has extensive talks and several tea sessions with the founder and president of the company who is granted the national title of the Great Tea Making Master certified by the government. Victoria wholly endorses their tea making philosophy that is organically grown, dedicated process, and mindfulness storage. See the breathtaking view of this terroir in the photos below.

This tea certainly carries the classic characteristics of the best aged white tea, with the floral taste of Hao Xiang, that one can typically only find in aged high grad white tea. It also features hints of grain, dates and vanilla, is fruity, smooth and mellow, very juicy and saliva-producing, a rare delicacy that white tea lovers should not miss.

According to Chinese folk tradition, aged white tea has tremendous supplemental medicinal benefits.
