Award-Winning Fuding King Jasmine Loose Leaf Tea

$ 33.80

Name: 福鼎茉莉花茶茶王

One of the most famous Jasmine teas in China, this tea has an incredible intense floral aroma. This king grade jasmine tea was harvested from Fuding silver needle white tea buds and scented five times resulting in an intense and delightful aroma. Unlike some lower quality jasmine teas where the jasmine aroma trumps the tea flavor, this tea's intense aroma is complemented by the base tea flavor. This tea's incredible aroma is scented from natural fresh Jasmine flowers, whereas most lower grade Jasmine teas on the market use additives or artificial scenting agents.  This tea tastes very sweet and smooth, can withstand higher temperatures than other Jasmine teas, with little bitterness. Well-balanced and enchanting, it is sure to enrich your sensory experience and delight a jasmine lover's day.

New harvest Jasmine tea usually comes on the market in the late summer and early fall, not in the spring. Since Jasmine flowers bloom in June, the base green tea for Jasmine  is processed in April and then stored, awaiting the scenting process to begin in June. So, take this into consideration when considering spring new harvest Jasmine teas.
