MeiMei Fine Teas in Hurricane Harvey Relief Effort
Hurricane Harvey was a powerful Category 4 storm that made landfall in the east Texas and Louisiana on August 25th, making it the second-most costly natural disaster in US history. Given the high cost of relief efforts (estimating might cost as much as $200 billion dollars) and the extraordinary need of those affected, numerous individuals, charities and corporations have volunteered their financial resources to assist with such efforts, and MeiMei Fine Teas is proud to be among them.
With your help, MeiMei Fine Teas was able to pledge 10% of all of our sales proceeds over Labor Day weekend promotions to Hurricane Harvey relief through the American Red Cross. We’d like to share the letter from the Senior Vice President, Disaster Cycle Services of the American Red Cross. We’d also like to extend our thanks to our customers and friends who made such effort and supported our cause. Because of you, we together made a difference!
