2016 Supreme Fuding Silver Needles White Tea Bai Hao Yin Zhen
Hao Xiang, or fragrance of the fuzz - a rare flavor phenomenon that offers an intoxicating aroma that is both floral and fruity. A true connoisseurs' delight, the liquor shows off the signature "hairy" particles from the buds during the initial steeps.
Sourced from Diantou Township, the heart of Fuding County and crafted by one of the most respected white tea producers in the region (see below pictures for the factory). Handpicked and sun-dried before being masterfully processed, expertly preserving its special attributes, and transforming it into a truly remarkable vintage. This tea is considered a treasured medicinal and cultural gem in the Chinese tea community.
When brewed, the buds unfurl into a soft light brown with subtle gray undertones, while the liquor takes on a warm amber hue, reminiscent of honey and aged white wine. that evokes notes of hay, pear, papaya, vanilla. Each sip is deeply satisfying, leaving a lingering sweetness that’s both delicate and profound. For the true white tea aficionado, this aged Silver Needle is an exceptional delicacy that should not be missed.
