Top Grade Floral Anxi Tie Guan Yin Iron Goddess of Mercy Oolong
Highlights
This is no doubt one of the best Tie Guan Yin on the market, sourced directly from the master Zhou in Anxi, Fujian province, hand picked and processed with great care. The best Tie Guan Yin tastes very delicate, has complex floral notes of Jasmine and Orchid. The liquor is very clean, has strong fruity notes of peach or papaya, sweet and soothing, full bodied, with strong aftertaste or saliva producing quality.
The authentic high quality Tie Guan Yin should have the shape of so called "Qing Ting Tou", meaning Dragonfly Head. The quality of Tie Guan Yin as well as taste are traditionally graded into four types, Zhen Wei, Xiao Zhen, Xiao Qing, and Tuo Shuan. Zhen Wei is the best among them and Tuo Shuan is the inferiors grade.
