It has a slightly blue undertone, very thin and lightweight, exhibiting the luminescence that is characteristic of top quality Jingdezhen porcelain. This teacup is completely handcrafted and hand painted. The painting of the lotus leaves and the flowers is master Muqing's magnificent art work, aesthetically stunning. Muqing is a very respected senior master porcelain painter and craftsman in Jingdezhen, and has worked in this field since the early 1990s. His works are a collector's favorite, with some works placed up for bid at a Chinese auction house.
