Organic Enshi Yu Lu Jade Dew Selenium-rich Green Tea

Enshi Yu Lu is produced in the remote Wuling mountainous two ethnic groups autonomous prefecture of Hubei province. Yu Lu, literally jade dew in Chinese, reflect its radiant and dark green leaves, clear bright green liquor. It is one of a few steamed Chinese green teas that employs the ancient steaming method in the process of making green tea. Steaming was the widely used method for making green tea during the Tang dynasty about 800 AD and was later adapted by the Japanese. However, in making En Shi Yu Lu, the ancient process and tools still remain to this day.

This tea is first grade pre-ming, floral, full bodied and creamy, with sweet delicate mouth feel. To reach its rich and deep satisfying taste, we only source the tea from the flavorful indigenous varietal, that is less commonly grown but remains highly thought after. A special great green tea  you don't want to miss. 

Enshi Jade Dew is the only Chinese tea that is high in selenium due to the rich soil of its terroir. Selenium is a powerful antioxidant that protects cells from damage by free radicals, protects the immune system, and may reduce joint inflammation.
