Duo Yi Shu National Forest Raw Pu-erh Tea

$ 25.00

Yiwu mountain historically produces the best Pu-erh tea, owing to its terroir, a large ancient Pu-erh tree forest preserve. Near the Chinese border to Laos, close to the famous Wan Gong forest and opposite to the famous Bo He Tang, Duo Yi Shu is a relatively new discovery and has become the connoisseurs’ favorite during the last several years micro-lot Pu-erh tea frenzy. Duo Yi Shu means sour papaya in the local dialect as there are many wild grown sour papaya trees in the forest.

This tea was a first batch spring harvest of the Duo Yi Shu terroir that was organically grown in a pristine area of the national forest. Look at the picture below of the freshly picked leaves, their color and radiance exhibit the essence of the deep forest. It was processed by hand using traditional methods. The liquor is a greenish-yellow, very clear and bright, and certainly a reflection of the remote wilderness and pure bio-diverse environment. It has a very pleasant floral fragrance, fruity, smooth and complex, very delicate, with a strong sweet after taste. As Pu-erh connoisseurs’ might say, it has that specific “Yun” unique to this terroir. If you taste the tea carefully, you will find out the Yun is prolonged and soft, stays long in your mouth, with a strong huigan sensation. This tea will not only satisfy your taste buds, but also bring your body to a contemplative state. A jewel from renowned Yiwu mountain Pu-erh tea, you have to experience it to fully understand and appreciate it.
