The plum blossom is a timeless subject in ancient Chinese literature and paintings. Chinese intellectuals and poets use the hardy plum blossom, with it's delicate yet persistently subtle fragrance, as a metaphor for themselves, representing virtue, dignity, and a strong will. 

The teacups are the finely produced by a respected local pottery studio in Jingdezhen, incorporating high quality raw materials and stringent firing requirements, and masterfully designed and finished at a top local art studio. The teacup is completely handcrafted, inspired by the Ming dynasty's "cracking ice" style, painted with meticulous detail and aesthetics.
