Shi Feng Long Jing Lion's Peak Dragonwell Green Tea

Shi Feng Long Jing is regarded as the cream of the crop of West Lake dragon well green tea among connoisseurs and Long Jing tea lovers. Shi Feng village is one of the five villages that produce the world's finest West Lake dragon well. The beautiful scenery in the village's hilly landscape and the famous Qian Long emperor's designated eighteen bushes (see picture below) have given this tea a romantic and spiritual appeal as well as a magnificent sensory experience.

Yang Mei Ling 杨梅岭 is one of the four sub-mountains of Shi Feng Dragon Well green tea. The traditional local varietal Qunti Zhong is preferred by seasoned Long Jing lovers. With all of the aspects of a renowned Shi Feng Dragon Well, this tea exhibits an exceptional quality with its nuttiness and a slight floral fragrance while being very smooth and delicate. What is more, a beautiful, sweet aftertaste and huigan emerges from the finish exemplifying why Shi Feng dragon well is such a world class tea. After all, drinking this tea is like the flowing waters of a stream behind an old country home, bringing inner comfort and contentment as if from wonderful times past. A true delicacy and a sensory delight!

Note: When you purchase dragonwell, look out for the color and shape of the dry leaf. Authentic dragonwell has pale green-yellow color, not a deep green like most dragon wells on the market. Also the high quality dry leaf is spear shaped and flat, does not have large green leaves.
