About Yellow & Scented Tea

Meimei Fine Teas proudly presents an exceptional selection of Chinese yellow teas, also known as Huang Cha, alongside our collection of naturally scented teas. Yellow tea, prized for its rarity and smooth, mellow character, is crafted through meticulous traditional methods that enhance its delicate sweetness and warm, nutty undertones. Meanwhile, our scented teas, infused with natural floral or fruity aromas, offer a harmonious blend of fragrance and flavor—creating a truly multi-sensory tea experience.

Each of our loose leaf yellow and scented teas are ethically sourced from trusted artisans who preserve the heritage and authenticity of Chinese tea culture. Renowned for their health benefits, such as aiding digestion and promoting relaxation, these teas are more than just a drink—they are an invitation to savor centuries of tradition and artistry. Discover the elegance of fine tea with Meimei Fine Teas.

Yellow tea is a unique class of tea derived from green tea but with a gentle oxidation process that gives it a golden hue. The additional step, known as Wodui, results in a distinctive yellow liquor and a naturally smooth, sweet taste. This refined process is rare and costly, making yellow tea one of China’s most exclusive and prized teas. Among the most renowned is Meng Ding Yellow Tea, celebrated for its soothing flavor and delicate aroma.

Scented teas differ from flavored or blended teas. Rather than adding artificial extracts or dried fruits, true scented teas absorb natural fragrances through a time-intensive process—where tea leaves are layered with fresh flowers or smoke over days or weeks. Meimei Fine Teas honors this traditional craft with authentic varieties such as Jasmine Green Tea, naturally scented with real jasmine blossoms, and Lapsang Souchong, gently smoked over pinewood.
