Genuine Yixing Zisha Purple Clay Teapot Eggplant Stem Qie Duan

Qie Duan is a classic style teapot, meaning "Eggplant Stem" in English. Qie Duan teapots usually have an eggplant stem-shaped lid knob with either a high or low profile body. It also features an ear-shaped handle and a double-curved spout. The teapot looks simple and plain, tall and straight with a vibrant simplicity. It is very practical to use.   

This teapot is crafted by Zhou Pin who has been crafting teapots for 20 years with an extensive skill set in crafting teapots. She is the wife of teapot master Wu Jun from whom Victoria had sourced teapots in the past. This teapot is a great value and offers an excellent opportunity for owning a genuine zisha teapot. The clay is authentic Di Cao Qing.
