Shui Ping teapots is a classic teapot, usually composed of a small body, which is a popular choice for oolong tea lovers to brew tea gongfu style. Shui Ping means "level like water" in English. When it is placed on the water, the teapot maintains its balance well without tipping over, hence the name Shui Ping. When steeped gongfu style, a lot of tea leaves become bunched up in the base of small teapots, and the flavors are not easily extracted, so the tea brewer would typically pour hot water over the teapot to bring more flavor out of the leaves. Shui Ping teapots usually have a straight spout with the mouth, handle, and lid aligned together, resulting in a composed well balanced presentation. 

This teapot is crafted by Zhou Pin who has been crafting teapot for 20 years with extensive  skills in crafting teapots. She is the widow of the late teapot master Wu Jun from whom Victoria had sourced teapots in the past. This teapot is a great value and opportunity for owning a genuine zisha teapot. The clay is authentic Zi Ni.
