Zisha tea pots are very unique to Chinese tea culture and are an essential brewing vessel for gongfu tea. Zisha means purple clay that originates solely from Yixing city of Jiangshu province, China. Yixing has a long history of producing Zisha teapot due to its unique mineral components and structural attributes of the raw material. Zisha tea pots are known for their ability to enhance tea’s aroma and flavor, thus making it an ideal vessel to brew gongfu tea. These teapots are meant to be made small and for infusing tea multiple times.
This tea pot has two Chinese ancient poems on both sides, providing an added touch of culture . It has a wide base that is great for brewing white tea and black tea, especially Puerh tea.

Additional Info: The recommended size to use is no more than 300ml, depending on how much tea is being brewed. If it is too large, the teapot will be difficult to handle when it is full. All things equal, the bigger the size, the more expensive the teapot.
