From its true origin, Fuding, Fujian province of China, this tea is wild grown, refreshing, mellow and smooth. Fuding is the original area for cultivation and production of white tea dating back to the early 19th century. Fuding has a unique terroir with 90% hilly land, and is credited as the "Home of Chinese White Tea". White Tea has gained in popularity in recent decades and has been grown in other parts of China as well as some other countries, but the quality and flavor vary significantly. However, Fuding white tea remains the most sought after white tea in the world. 

Chinese folk tradition indicates that white tea has tremendous medicinal benefits, especially for boosting the immune system and helping to cure cold and fever. It is also pairs very well with a variety of food.

Fruity aroma, full bodied, very refresh, has notes of dates, melon and a vanilla sweetness. 

190-195oF, 4 grams (2 heaping tbsp) for 6-8 oz of spring/filtered water, adjust to taste, 1-2 minutes, 3 steeps. We advise against the use of tap water as well as purified water.

This is a fluffy loose leaf tea and prone to broken leaves, so be gentle when scooping the tea out of the pouch and always handle with care.
