USDA Organic Super Grade Gongmei Heavenly Treasure White Tea Cake
We are pleased to offer a USDA Organic white tea from its true origin, Jiayang village, Fuding county, Fujian province. The local varietal "Gongmei", or "Tu Cha" as the natives refer to it, is a white tea lovers' pleasure. It has a more distinctive taste than its counterpart Shou Mei, and has a higher grade than Shou Mei, per national white tea standards.
This tea has attained USDA Organic certificate. On Victoria's 2024 tea trip, she visited the company's organic tea growing mountains, see photos below. The top of the mountain features breathtaking panoramic views (see pictures below). It would be a pity not to bring this wonderful tea back to our tea community. After many tasting sessions, Victoria knew she had to procure this tea. As its name suggests, it is a true sensory treasure from the heaven.
This tea tastes very clean with a clear liquor and a taste unlike any other white peony due to Gongmei varietal tasting profile. It has a floral and fruity aroma, notes of dates, melon and a vanilla sweetness. A great everyday tea with excellent health benefits. It can be paired with a variety of food.
