This tea hails from Ge Deng, one of the famous six ancient Pu-erh tea mountains, in Xishuangbanna prefecture, Yunnan. It is located at the center of the ancient six mountains of Yi Wu and was famous for being the tribute tea during the Qing dynasty. Its highest elevation is 1950 meters. Ge Deng is famous for reverent Kong Ming mountain (孔明山) where Kong Ming, also known as Zu Ge Liang in Three Kingdom era, is said to be the educator of the tea cultivation about 2000 years ago. History also records that Ge Deng was also famous for a King Pu-erh Tree, (now died) where the locals gathered to worship and pray.

This tea is from the ancient Zhibang village that is known for producing the best Pu-erh in Ge Deng mountain. The first thing you notice is the floral fragrance that is like a spring breeze from a wildflower garden in the mountains. The liquor is delicate and smooth, very clean, complex, fruity, along with strong huigan. This tea will certainly elevate your tea experience.
