2007 Xinhui Mandarin Orange Pu'erh Tea Vintage Gongting Shu Pu'erh
This tea teases the taste buds with tantalizing citrus notes. Stuffed in an authentic, dried Xinhui mandarin is Gongting shu puerh tea that has been aged for 9 years. Gongting is the highest grade of puerh leaf quality. This tea is very smooth, full bodied, with a strong citrus flavor. Great for puerh tea beginners and puerh tea lovers alike. The dried orange shell is authentic Xinhui mandarin from Gongdong province. Chinese tradition regards Xinhui mandarin skin as great for soothing the lungs and throat, and for reducing excessive body heat.
Each weighs about 28-40g, good for multiple times of use. If desired, break off a few small pieces of the mandarin shell to steep along with the tea!

It has a pleasant and smooth earthy flavor, with a slight hint of smokiness at the first steeping, notes of dark chocolate and caramel, and a smooth aftertaste. No musty taste. You will notice that it becomes sweeter with each steeping.
Take 4 grams of puerh tea out from the mandarin, break off a few small pieces of mandarin skin to brew along with the tea if desired, 210oF, 6- 8 oz of spring/filtered water, 1-2 min; up to 6 steepings. We advise against the use of tap water as well as purified water.
