Meimei Brand Bing Dao Ancient Tree Raw Pu'erh Tea Dragon Balls
We are excited to offer this delicious puerh tea from the famous Bing Dao village. Puerh tea from Bing Dao village is said to be like Champagne is to French wine. There are five natural villages in the Bing Dao area, and this tea is truly a treasure find. Can you imagine a tea that tastes like sugar cane juice in your mouth? It is very aromatic, very sweet and smooth, full bodied, and has good huigan.
The raw tea was harvested in the spring of 2016 then hand pressed and hand wrapped into individual balls in 2017. It is labor intensive to hand press and wrap pu'erh balls. Each ball weighs about 8g, varies from 7.5-8.5g, and is meant for a single serving. Brewing the tea is easy; use any utensils you have at hand, either a gaiwan, glass tea pot, or clay teapot. However, we recommend gongfu-style with a gaiwan to get the most out of this delicious tea.
