2015 Bing Dao Big Tree Raw Puerh Cake (冰岛）
This tea came from the famous Bing Dao (冰岛) village which lies at an altitude of 1600 meters, in Meng Ku town of Lin Cang city, Yunnan. Bing Dao has a long history of producing Yunnan Da Ye (large leaves) puer tea. Puer tea produced from ancient tea trees at a high attitude is regarded as one of the best puer tea and has been one of the most thought after puerh tea in the world. This tea is carefully plucked in April, with big trees of 100-300 years old, produced in the traditional methods, and pressed by hand in a stone mold. This high quality puer tea is naturally sweet, has an aroma of spiced apple, ginger, and cantaloupe, full bodied, very smooth, with a hint of cinnamon and sweet aftertaste.

200-205oF, 4g (1 tbsp) for 6 oz of spring/filtered water, 0.5 - 1 minute, 4-5 steepings. We advise against the use of tap water as well as purified water.
