From ancient puer trees that are more than 600 years old, also referred to as "King Puer Tree (Cha Wang Shu)", from Ban Peng village, in Bulang Mountains, Meng Hai, Yunnan province. Ban Pen village, which lies at an altitude of 1400 meters, is the closest village on the way to the famed Lao Ban Zhang village. Due to the high demand for Lao Ban Zhang tea, puerh tea from Ban Peng has made its way to puerh lover's short list. It shares similar attributes to that of Lao Ban Zhang puer tea. It is full bodied, very smooth, has strong "Cha Qi" and a long-lasting sweet aftertaste.
