2015 Tai Hua Gu Shu Raw Pu'erh Tea 400g
This tea hails from Feng Qing, Lincang, Yunnan. Tai Hua tea was a famous tea in Feng Qing, having gained notoriety from the book “The Travel Dairies of Xu Xiake” by the great geologist and writer Xu Xia Ke from the Ming dynasty era. In this book Xu recorded the story of his temporary stay at an elder Mei’s home in Gao Jian Chao Village of Feng Qing County where he was graciously given the delicious comforting roasted Tai Hua tea.
This tea was a 2015 harvest from local Feng Qing arbor trees. Feng Qing has large reserves of ancient puerh trees and is one of the major pu’erh tea growing regions in Yunnan, China. The well known 3200 year-old Mother Puerh Tree is also located in Xiang Zhu Qing, Jin Xiou village, Feng Qing. This tea tastes very smooth and mellow, with very little astringency, and has long-lasting sweet aftertaste.
