2015 Tai Hua Ancient Tree Raw Pu'erh Tea 400g

1 review

This tea hails from Feng Qing, Lincang, Yunnan. Feng Qing is one of the major pu’erh tea growing regions in Yunnan, China. Tai Hua tea was a famous tea in Feng Qing in ancient times, having gained notoriety from the book “The Travel Dairies of Xu Xiake” by the great geologist and writer Xu Xia Ke from the Ming dynasty era. In this book Xu recorded the story of his temporary stay at an elder Mei’s home in Gao Jian Chao Village of Feng Qing County where he was graciously given the delicious comforting Tai Hua tea.

This tea was a 2015 harvest from local Feng Qing arbor trees. It tastes very smooth and mellow, with very little astringency, and has long-lasting sweet aftertaste.
