This Gong Ting (meaning palace in Chinese, the highest leaf quality) Puerh tea came from Meng Hai of Xishuangbanna, Yunnan province. This tea was plucked from big trees about 80-150 years old, and processed in 2003, then carefully stored and aged for 13 years, having reached its prime for consumption. They were then compressed into individually wrapped mini puerh cakes for convenient use and storage. This gong ting mini cake is a true one-of-a-kind tea. It can also be brewed by adding rose buds or osmanthus flowers for a more floral taste. The net weight of each mini cake is 5 grams, a general serving size perfect for each use, and very convenient for travel.
