Pristine Windy Village Gua Feng Zhai Arbor Tree Sheng Pu'erh Tea 刮风寨
Highlights
We are thrilled to offer this tea hailing from Gua Feng Zhai, literally "windy village" in Chinese. Gua Feng Zhai is one of the most renowned teas in the six historical ancient pu'erh tea mountains of Yunnan province. Gua Feng Zhai is right at the Chinese border in the national forest territory. It's tea is well known for its chaqi and great floral and fruity notes, complex and rich, while yet maintaining a full mouth feel. Your body would feel contentment after drinking this tea. It surely showcases the very essence of high quality pu'erh tea. Victoria has traveled far off the beaten path to source this tea. Due to its popularity and rare high quality, this tea is so sought after that it is extremely difficult to get, even within the Chinese puerh tea market.
Note: Ours are 100% pure leaves from the village, first spring harvest, no blends, no intermingling of leaves from other villages or with inferior pu-erh leaves. This is a truly special tea that tea connoisseurs would not want to miss.
Traditionally, puerh cakes are stacked together and wrapped in a bamboo skin case called a tong. One tong is composed of 5 individual cakes. To purchase a tong, please contact us directly.
