This teacup comes from Jingdezhen, the porcelain capital of world, produced from the top well respected studio. Deep blue glaze is referred to as "Ji Lan", a technique that is more difficult to fire successfully in the kiln. This type of firing were developed during the Yuan dynasty and became popular during the Qing dynasty. The Chinese characters at the bottom of the cup mean "strive for success". 

This tea bowl has a vibrantly rich color and strikingly combines a classy look with a sleek style. The golden rim adds some delightful flair. Made by a top art studio in Jingdezhen, it is simply beautiful and classy, and will surely add some dazzle to your tea ware collection.
