Tie Guan Ying is one of the most revered and sought-after oolong teas in China. Sourced directly from the master Zhou in Anxi, Fujian province, handpicked and hand rolled. The authentic high quality Tie Guan Yin should have the shape of so called "Qing Ting Tou", meaning Dragonfly Head. The quality of Tie Guan Yin as well as taste are traditionally graded into four types, Zhen Wei, Xiao Zhen, Xiao Qing, and Tuo Shuan. Zhen Wei and Xiao Zhen is the best among them and Tuo Shuan is the inferior grade. This tea is Xiao Zhen quality.

This tea is aromatic, creamy, full bodied, with sweet and enduring finish that lingers in the mouth and nose. It can sustain as many as ten infusions. Oolong tea has many health benefits, most known as skinny tea.

The Tie Guan Yin mother tea plant can be seen directly behind Victoria in the picture below, who is sitting beside the historic marker.
