Prestigious Ge Deng Ancient Tree Gushu Sheng Pu'erh Tea 革登古树
This tea hails from Ge Deng, one of the famous six ancient pu-erh tea mountains, in Xishuangbana prefecture, Yunnan. Ge Deng is located at the center of the ancient six mountains and was famous for being the tribute tea during the Qing dynasty. Its highest elevation is 1950 meters. Ge Deng is famous for reverent Kong Ming mountain where Kong Ming is said to be the educator of the tea plantings about 2000 years ago. History also records that Ge Deng was also famous for a King Pu-erh Tree where the locals gathered to worship and pray. There used to be a lot of ancient puerh trees but many were cut down in the 1970's to 1980's to grow grain and corn.
Ge Deng ancient puerh tree tea is scarce on the market. This tea is from the famous ancient Zhibang village gushu tree Terrance. The first thing you notice is the floral fragrance that is like a spring breeze from a wildflower garden high in the mountains. The liquor is rich, complex, very smooth and thick, along with strong huigan and a sweet aftertaste. This tea will certainly elevate your tea experience.
Traditionally, puerh cakes are stacked together and wrapped in a bamboo skin case called a tong. One tong is composed of 5 individual cakes. To purchase a tong, simply purchase 5 cakes, and leave us a note that you desire a tong.
