The clay and glaze, called Guci (古瓷), literally antique porcelain, differs from other Jingdezhen glaze material which gives the cup more of an antique look. Guci has become a hot trend in Jingdezhen porcelain in recent years. 

Chinese landscape painting is one of China’s marvelous art traditions and is one of the oldest art forms in the world. The painting doesn’t usually depict a specific mountain or landscape, rather, it is meant to capture the essence of mother nature, along with the painter’s own inner spirit, so called Mind Landscape.
