2013 Fuding Top Grade White Peony White Tea Angel Cake
Highlights
This tea is no doubt another great white tea that we proudly offer. It hails from its true origin of Fuding, in Fujing province and is produced by a prestigious local tea company, Shun Ming Dao.
This tea was harvested in March 30, 2013, and was ecologically grown in the hilly mountains of Hou Jin village, naturally processed and sun-dried, then compressed into cakes in May of 2016. After seven years of aging, this tea has a well-balanced flavor and is a pleasure to drink. It has a strong fragrance, tastes smooth and sweet, has a taste of dates and fruit, is soothing to your throat, and features a strong sweet aftertaste. It produces strong saliva and you quickly find that your mouth is full of juicy sweetness.
There is a Chinese saying about Fuding white tea: "year one a tea, year three a medicine, and year seven a treasure". So the more aged the white tea, the more valuable it becomes. Aged white tea is regarded as having greater health benefits, especially for helping to prevent cold and fever.
