The Jun kiln, in Yuzhou, Henan province, is one of the five famous kilns hailing from the Song dynasty about 960-1279 years ago.  Jun kiln is renowned for its ever changing glaze. In fact, for good Jun porcelain, no piece has the exact same glaze as any other.

This cup is from the state-owned Old Jun Kiln Factory produced in the 1990s, in the historical Jun ware city of Yuzhou. The cup feels heavy in the hand due to its thick use of clay, one indication of old style cup, as well as the nest of deep cracks on the surface. The shape is classic Luohan monk cup (罗汉杯), very comfortable to hold. It's surely a great piece for your daily tea enjoyable and great value for a collectible piece.
