This Ru Kiln tea strainer set includes the holder and the strainer/filter. The holder is bamboo shaped cup, gives the strainer an artistic appeal. When you pour your tea, move the strainer to the fair cup, after pouring your tea move the strainer back to holder. It is a nice addition to your gongfu tea table. 

Ru kiln is one of the five greatest kilns located in Linru county of Henan province of China, during the Song Dynasty (960-1279). Ru kiln wares have very smooth glaze that have crazing patterns on the surface and these fine lines become pronounced cracks after a period of use. 

The strainer and holder together measure 6 cm (2.5") tall, 7.5 cm (3") wide.
