Wucai 五彩 firing was invented in Chenghua era of Ming dynasty in Jingdezhen kiln and was well-developed during the Qing dynasty. This type of decorative or colorful porcelain uses the combination of blue-and-white firing then underglaze painted with other colors to fire again for the artistic and luxury look.
